◆5th Japan Fair Successfully Held by the Embassy of Japan

   The Embassy of Japan in Palau successfully held the 5th Japan Fair on Sunday, November 23, 2014 at the Ngarachamayong Cultural Center from 2:00pm to 5:00pm. The Embassy of Japan would like to express our appreciation to the approximately 600 people who came to the event, including guest speaker Delegate Frank Kyota, Vice Chairman of Education and Youth Affairs Committee.

  The Japan Fair featured judo performance by Palau Judo Federation, song performances by students of Palau High School, G.B. Harris Elementary School, Melekeok Elementary School, Airai Elementary School, Meyuns Elementary School, the Japanese Language School, Palau’s Senior Citizens and Ms. Wynona Takeo and Mr. Winhart Kengichi and a talk by Mr. Yoshihisa Goto, Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) volunteer.

    The Embassy of Japan hopes the attendants of the 5th Japan Fair enjoyed the event and learned some of the unique Japanese culture. Additionally, the Embassy of Japan would like to thank everyone who made the event possible, most especially to Bilung Gloria Salii, the Ministry of Education, SDA Church, Palau Senior Citizens Center, Palau Judo Federation, Alumni of the Japanese Government Scholarship, JICA, the Japanese Language School, Mr. Simeon Adelbai, Ms. Wynona Takeo and Mr. Winhart Kengichi, and all the other various individuals and organization that enabled a successful 5th Japan Fair.
